A Peruvian delegation comprised of ten companies which attended Colombiamoda 2012 fashion fair are expected to generate business deals worth over US$ 2.8 million, reported Peru’s Commission for Export and Tourism Promotion (Promperu).
The objective of Peru's participation is to diversify markets and take advantage of trade benefits between Peru and Colombia as member countries of the Andean Community (CAN).
The event was attended by 450 exhibitors, 9,500 local and international buyers and over 60,000 attendees. It included fashion walkways, products display and information stands.
Promperu organized the participation of ten apparel companies in the fair’s Yellow Pavilion, five of which were supported by Banco de Crédito del Peru (BCP, Peruvian bank).
